By day I’m a software engineer in Christchurch, NZ. I love programming, and I also love the bit after programming where I go home to my wife and menagerie. We have a cat, two gold fish, two chickens and a few more on the way (although apparently you’re not supposed to count them before they hatch).
There aren’t many places in life where you get the chance to do what you like, when you like, how you like. The back yard is one place where you can express yourself any way you like, and I like to take full advantage of that freedom to experiment and learn.
Hopefully in the process of raising animals and plants I will learn something useful to you as well. We can learn together. It’s better to learn from someone else’s mistakes than having to make them all yourself – let me make your mistakes for you!
